MEZO Gauges: New Aero Pools, Same Place to Vote

MEZO Gauges: New Aero Pools, Same Place to Vote

Aero is preparing to launch, and the Aerodrome pools supported through MEZO Gauges are changing with it. For veMEZO holders, the key point is simple: voting continues on Mezo as usual.

Aerodrome and Velodrome are coming together as Aero, with a launch scheduled for October 22 at 00:00 UTC, or October 21 at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

We’re updating Mezo’s Aerodrome integrations to support the new pools and gauges on Aero. Read the full announcement in Aero’s launch update.

For veMEZO voters

MEZO Gauges let veMEZO holders direct incentives toward supported liquidity pools beyond Mezo. Those votes help decide where incentives can attract liquidity and make ecosystem assets easier to access and use.

For more on how MEZO Gauges work, read Introducing MEZO Gauges. You can also add incentives to attract veMEZO votes through Matchbox. Scroll down to the Remote MEZO Gauges section and choose the gauge you want to support.

Keep voting through Mezo’s Vote page as usual. The Mezo app handles the switch to the new Aero gauges, so you can continue directing incentives from the same place.

During Aero’s launch, incentives will be directed to the new gauges on Aero.

Open Mezo and head to Vote to review your allocation.

For liquidity providers in our Aerodrome pools

If you provide liquidity to the USDC/MUSD or MEZO/MUSD pool on Base, you’ll need to move your LP position to a new pool on Aero.

The upgrade portal opens on October 22 at 00:00 UTC. Follow Aero’s LP guidance to migrate your LP positions using the Aero Upgrade Portal.
