How to Vote on MEZO Gauges

This content is not available in your language yet.

MEZO Gauges are voted on with veMEZO, on their own page, independently of veBTC gauge voting and boost matching.

You do not need veBTC, an LP position, or a position in the destination pool to vote. See How to Lock MEZO if you don’t have veMEZO yet.

  1. Go to the Vote tab on mezo.org and switch to veMEZO voting — the veMEZO gauge list at mezo.org/earn/vote/mezo.

  2. Review the available gauges. Each row lists the destination protocol and chain, the pool, any incentives posted on the gauge, and the date this epoch’s emissions reach that pool.

  3. Enter the percentage of your veMEZO voting power you want to allocate to each gauge. You can split across several, for example 60% to Aerodrome USDC/MUSD and 40% to Curve USDT/USDC/MUSD.

  4. Click Submit Votes and sign the transaction.

Your allocation is registered for the current epoch as soon as the transaction confirms.

MEZO Gauges follow the same weekly cycle as the rest of Mezo Earn.

  • Epochs run 7 days, turning over Thursday 00:00 UTC
  • Voting is open throughout the epoch and closes at the turnover
  • Votes are tallied at the turnover, and each gauge’s MEZO allocation is set by its share of total veMEZO votes cast on MEZO Gauges

Unvoted emissions. MEZO is split across MEZO Gauges strictly in proportion to the votes cast. A gauge that receives no votes receives no MEZO, and its share is spread across the gauges that did get votes. Voting power you leave unallocated simply does not influence the split, and earns you no incentives.

Your allocation persists across epochs until you change it. If you are happy with your split, you do not need to re-submit every week — it keeps earning you a share of that gauge’s incentives each epoch.

To change it: return to the MEZO Gauges page, enter a new allocation, and submit. The new split replaces the old one from the epoch in which it confirms.

To reset it: set your allocation to zero across all gauges and submit, which withdraws your voting power from MEZO Gauges entirely.

You can change or reset as often as you like within an epoch; only your allocation at the epoch turnover counts toward that epoch’s split.

Does this affect my boost or my veBTC votes?

Section titled “Does this affect my boost or my veBTC votes?”

No. Voting on MEZO Gauges is independent:

  • It does not consume veMEZO you are using to boost a veBTC position, and does not reduce a boost you have already provided
  • It does not require a poke — poking refreshes veBTC boosted weight, which MEZO Gauge voting does not touch
  • It has no effect on where your veBTC votes send staking gauge emissions
