Claiming Incentives

Who claims what, and where, depends on which side of the gauge you are on.

Curve and Uniswap LPs: Claim on Merkl

Rewards are not pushed to your wallet. Merkl accrues a claim against your address, and you have to collect it.

  1. Go to app.merkl.xyz.
  2. Connect the wallet holding the LP position.
  3. Open Dashboard. It lists every reward that wallet can claim, so you do not need to find the campaign yourself.
  4. Click Claim and sign the transaction.

What you receive: veMEZO locked for 3 months, not liquid MEZO. Once claimed, it behaves like any other veMEZO position. It can boost a veBTC position, and it can vote on MEZO Gauges.

If you LP in the pool, you can vote that veMEZO back onto the pool’s MEZO Gauge to direct more emissions there. That is optional. Providing liquidity during the campaign is enough to claim.

You do not need to hold veMEZO, or have voted, to claim as an LP. Providing liquidity to the pool during the campaign is the only requirement.

Aerodrome: Claim on Base

MEZO directed to an Aerodrome gauge is deposited as a voting incentive, so it is claimed by veAERO voters, not by LPs.

If you hold veAERO and voted for USDC/MUSD or MEZO/MUSD: go to aerodrome.finance, open your veAERO lock, and claim your rewards for the epoch. Your MEZO share is proportional to your share of the votes on that gauge.

If you LP in Aerodrome USDC/MUSD or MEZO/MUSD: stake your position in the pool’s gauge and claim AERO emissions there. Note the two-epoch lag between a Mezo vote and the AERO it produces.

If you directed veMEZO to a MEZO Gauge, you earn a share of any incentives posted on that gauge, proportional to your share of its votes.

Claim these the same way as any other voting reward — on the Vote tab at mezo.org, once the epoch has closed. See Claiming Fees & Emissions.

These incentives are separate from the emissions you directed. The emissions go to the destination pool; the incentives are posted on Mezo to attract your vote there in the first place.
