How to Deposit Assets to Mezo

You can deposit tBTC and other supported ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum to Mezo Mainnet using an EVM wallet.

The Native BTC Bridge-in has ended

As of October 13, 2026, the Native BTC Bridge-in is closed and the Mezo app no longer accepts deposits from Bitcoin wallets (UniSat, OKX, Xverse). Bridge-outs directly to BTC remain available. To bring BTC to Mezo, deposit tBTC from Ethereum instead. It settles in minutes and has no minimum.

If you hold BTC in a Bitcoin wallet, create a Mezo account with an EVM wallet and manage deposits from there. If your Mezo account already uses a Bitcoin wallet, you can keep your assets on Mezo by moving them to an EVM wallet: in the Mezo app, go to Transact > Send and enter your EVM wallet’s 0x… address (see Send Assets). You can also still bridge out directly to BTC. See Withdrawals.

Before you begin

• Sign in with an EVM wallet such as MetaMask. Bitcoin wallets can’t deposit to Mezo.
• Check which assets are supported. You can confirm the token addresses for these addresses on the Contracts Reference page.
• All transactions on Mezo Mainnet are paid in BTC. tBTC deposited from Ethereum arrives as BTC on Mezo, so it’s recommended to fund your account with tBTC to ensure you have gas to pay for transactions. If you only hold MUSD or MEZO on Mezo, use Get Gas.

Deposit your assets

1. Go to the Mezo App and sign in with an EVM wallet.

2. Click Deposit. The deposit form opens with tBTC selected.

3. Select the asset you want to bridge and specify the amount.

4. Click Review and check the details of the transfer.

5. If the transaction is acceptable, confirm it in your wallet. If it’s your first deposit of that token, your wallet asks you to approve it first.

After the transaction is complete, the bridging process begins. The process can take several minutes to complete before you receive your assets on Mainnet.
